Mary Beth Shumpert and her husband, Thomas, partnered with The Harvest in 2008.  They have three sons, Brayden, Spencer, and Tyler.  Mary Beth grew up in a Christ-centered home, which laid the foundation for her faith today. She prayed to accept Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 6.  While in high school, Mary Beth felt a call to ministry and rededicated her life to the service and work of Christ.

Mary Beth has volunteered in music and children's ministries for years, and has worked in daycare and the public school system.  She enjoys exercising her creativity, whether it is writing, special event planning, or simply finding a new use for something old.  She loves learning new things, especially about God and His character. Having a passion for teaching children and a call to ministry, Mary Beth began serving as director of children's ministry at The Harvest in 2011.
