Good News Clubs will be meeting at seven Lexington elementary schools this year. 

The clubs, which strictly use Child Evangelism Fellowship curriculum and format, meet after school until 3:45 p.m. on  Tuesdays at Saxe Gotha Elementary,  Wednesdays at Lexington and New Providence Elementaries, Thursdays at Saluda River and Red Bank Elementaries, Pelion Elementary and Lake Murray Elem. with days to be determined. The clubs feature Bible lessons, creative learning activities, missionary stories, music, Scripture memory, games, prizes and snacks. Children learn respect for authority, moral values, character qualities and biblical principals.  They take this home and share with their family, families grow closer to each other and to God.  Some even begin attending church!  Parents are always welcome at club! Club volunteers are Christians that are concerned for the spiritual well being of children.  They are trained and well screened by Child Evangelism Fellowship.
We also pray for the school staff and students, often get the opportunity to assist with short term projects and most schools have mentor programs that they could use assistance with.
