Pastor Larry Shaw,
Pastor Larry Shaw grew up in eastern North Carolina, but he has called the Midlands of South Carolina home for over 20 years. Larry and his wife, Alesia, have 3 children – Bria, Patrick, and Meredith – all three of whom are growing up far too quickly.
Here at Harvest Church, Pastor Larry assists in worship planning and leading, as well as working with the band. In addition, he serves the congregation at large with pastoral care and connection.
Pastor Larry has served previously as a worship pastor, and he and Alesia have extensive ministry experience traveling all over the United States and Canada, performing at outdoor concerts, festivals, fairs, church services, and major national events. Their musical style incorporates inspirational, gospel, and contemporary worship. They sing songs with a message of hope through Jesus Christ for the lost, encouragement for the believer, and praise and adoration for God alone! A major component of their ministry is reaching into the inner cities of the US with the Salvation Army, both in their local congregations and in their ARCs (Adult Rehabilitation Centers). They have a long history of ministering with the Salvation Army, dating all the way back to 1986.
Pastor Larry has been ordained through the South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church since 2007. He earned a BA with a double major in music and Bible from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC, where he is now pursuing a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Ministry Studies.
