Nursery & Preschool

Nursery & Preschool

Our nursery and preschool ministry is for any child from birth through kindergarten. Each room is divided by age and development so that the children will be safe and entertained by age and development-appropriate toys, original lessons, and activities that foster a basis of the biblical truths.

Check-In & Security

Our preschool ministry is located in The KidZone. When you arrive, come in through the main entrance doors to the get to the KidZone. Walk up the steps in front of the cafe to check-in your child(ren), and then a guest services team member will walk your child(ren) to class.

You will receive a sticker for your child, and a Guardian sticker for yourself. You will need this to pick up your child after service. The stickers have matching numbers that will be displayed on the screen in the sanctuary if you are needed during service.

If it’s your first time, you will be given a brief introduction to the check-in system and safe pick up of your child. You will also be offered an explanation of our children’s ministries.

After you have attended Harvest a few times, you will be asked to fill out a short form with information about your child, then he/she will be put into our system.

What We Do

The nurseries and preschool classrooms at Harvest offer instruction that will keep your child entertained and engaged through activities that promote the exploration of God: our Creator, Savior, and Sustainer. We also strive to provide a safe, clean environment that gives parents confidence that their child will be well taken care of so they may relax and let the Holy Spirit bring them to a place of Grace through the Word spoken in the services.

Here's a look at a typical schedule in one of our preschool classrooms during services:

  • Playtime
  • Worship with music
  • Lesson
  • Snack
  • Craft
  • Game
  • Playtime until parents pick-up
